Trunki Ride Suitcase Review : Kids Holiday Friend admin July 2, 2015 Lifestyle Summers are here and its time already to plan the much awaited vacation. Though the whole family is excited about the upcoming trip, my six year old already has her funky trunki out, all set to be filled with her favorite clothes and toys. And for the next few weeks, till we actually start our journey to her grandmother’s place, our house is going to double sometimes as an airport, and other times as a train station with my daughter either pulling her luggage like an adult or just riding her trunki around. Before we start packing, who would like to win a Trunki PaddlePak Rucksack…?? We are ready for the holiday ride. Are you? Is it a suitcase or a toy? Well, make no mistake, a trunki is a sturdy suitcase for your kid’s stuff that also doubles as a toy settee or ride while waiting on airports queues, or walking across the tarmac or railway platforms. Suitable for ages three to six, it is made of solid hard plastic that is made to last several years. It is made to be a part of your hand luggage, so don’t check it in though I am sure if you are forced to do so, it won’t take too much of a beating. The fact that it comes in exciting animal shapes and bright colors gives it a toy like look that attracts and engages kids. And if your kids get too tired to walk or if your arms are already too full, you can just pull the trunki with its strap while your kid sits on it. See how much I can pack in this Features Comes with two clasps that can be secured with a key attached to the strap handle. One side of the case has an elastic belt for holding things in place. The case comes with two hard horns that work like handles that your child can hang on to while riding or being pulled. Handles for grabbing the case when you need to walk quickly. A detachable strap that can clipped on at one side for pulling the suitcase or at both sides for hanging on your shoulder. Id label on strap handle. Here is a Fun Video of Trunki Though I agree that it can sometimes be difficult to maneuver it, especially while turning; its ability to keep my daughter happy during frustrating waits, inevitable in most journeys, makes me really appreciate the trunki. While size is sometimes an issue, don’t forget that’s it’s a hand luggage and perhaps you can just put the essential kiddy stuff and some of your own things in it while the rest can be checked in.
